This morning I woke up with 2 things running through my mind: Phil Wickham's praise song "This is Amazing Grace" and asking the Lord: "what ONE ANOTHER verse from your Word do you want to encourage the River Warriors with?"
So here it is, a prayer prompt from the Apostle Paul's New Testament letter to the believers in a small city in what is now Turkey:
“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish ONE ANOTHER with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” Colossians 3:16 NIV
The verse is packed, but as a prayer prompt, don't miss the part about SINGING!
I need to sing more! My guess is, you could use more singing in your life too. Don't let the Enemy continue to censor your voice because of some childhood judgement on it for not being good enough and silence your singing.
The prompt this morning is to TURN UP THE MUSIC that comes from YOU and let's sing, SING to God with gratitude in our hearts!
