Lord Jesus, saviour, healer, I pray for ____, her family, her surgeon, the attending staff.
We trust her to your loving care as she undergoes this dramatic surgery and heals from it. Guard them against fear! I pray your presence and peace will be radically evident through this time for them - show your power to grant peace and healing - give them courage and vision for how you may possibly use this tragic sickness and surgery to build them stronger and bring you great glory.
We look forward to the day when we have an existence free from sickness, disease, and you will wipe away every tear. For now, we ask you to guide, strengthen, and use us for bringing eternal hope and joy in the midst of a world that often feels hopeless and frightening.
