A friend awaiting surgery

Dear Father in heaven,
I sit here thinking of *** in the hospital, feeling weak and in need of this surgery for a pacemaker to stabilise his health.
I think of **** and her concerns over her beloved husband and I ask for you to surround them both with your peace and care.
Protect from infection.
Protect from anything that might get in the way of his healing.
Thank you for a good hospital and staff to care for him.
We trust that you will guide them now and through this surgery on Monday.
In everything we give thanks, knowing how blessed we are to live in this century and with the advantage of health care and the resources to get treatment.
We are undeserving, and we can only thank you that you have chose to give us so much.
That said, we still have confidence to ask for MORE! For healing. For health. For miracles. For salvation.
I pray that all these things that are happening in their family will result in someone coming to faith in you, or coming back to you!
Because you deserve all praise and honour and glory for now and forever from ALL of us, your creation.
Thank you Father that we can dare to make such bold requests to you in the name of Jesus!
AMEN
