and Lord,
You've known and loved ______ since you created her in her mother's womb.
You now every detail about her needs in Wisconsin, tho I've never met her.
I come before you now, as I sit here at my desk in Singapore, thinking she's sleeping the night before her surgery.
Grant her peace, rest, and the ability to trust in you through this scary surgery!
I even pray for the solid restful sleep for the medical staff who will perform the operation tomorrow!
Protect them all as they rest so that they'll be at their best for their work tomorrow.
Guide their hands as they put them to work at repairing Aunt Betty's earthly body...
For the sake of her family and friends who love her and desire to share life with her a little longer, I pray for you to use this successful surgery in adding to their joy...and your glory and testimony to your creative power, in making us, making our minds, developing science to a point where we can do these amazing things, healing our wounds.
I trust them all to you God. Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
Thank you that we can take our cares to you, trust you with them
and that you somehow work in mysterious ways through our prayers!
I'm also thankful that in you we can have a peace that passes understanding.
I pray that for Aunt Betty and her family today...
